1. Do I need to book my tour in advance and what is the deadline?
If you want to be sure to take part on our tour, please book it as soon as possible or at least 24 hours before the departure.
2. How can I pay for your services?
You can use the bank transfer (with a 5% discount and at least 7 days in advance). We also accept payments in cash (CZK, EUR) during the tour. You will receive further information during the reservation.
3. What is the deadline for a reservation cancelation?
All tours can be cancelled up to 24 hours prior to the start free of charge. Otherwise 50% of the total price will be charged as a cancellation fee.
4. Are the tours guided by qualified guides in person?
Yes, all our guides are licensed professionals (mainly by the Prague Information Centre Examinations). They are fluent in the language you have chosen for your tour.
5. What languages do you offer?
We offer all our tours is 10 languages – English, German, Spanish, French, Italian, Portuguese, Russian, Slovenian, Slovak and Czech, but we can arrange any other language on request.
6. What buses are used for the tours?
We use professional transport services. For trips that take longer than 1 hour (Karlovy Vary, Český Krumlov) we use air-conditioned buses, where hot and cold drinks are served, 5 music channels are offered and some buses are even equipped with a wireless internet connection.
7. Do you pick the clients up from their hotel and where do your tours end?
All tours start and end in the city centre. We pick our clients up from the hotel only if they order the PRIVATE GUIDE service or a tailor-made programme. In other cases your guide will wait for you in front of the St. Wenceslas statue at the Wenceslas Square with a white PRAGUE LIGHTS umbrella.
8. How to make a complaint?
All complaints must be made no later than 24 hours after the tour, preferably immediately after the end of the tour. The complaints can be made directly to the guide, you can call us at (00420) 776 00 44 77, or send an email to info@praguelights.cz. In case the client leaves the group, or does not respect the guide's instructions, no complaints will be taken into consideration. 9. I am physically handicapped. Can participate in your tours?
Yes, most of our tours are designed also for physically handicapped persons. Consult your trip with us and we will advise you the best options for your programme.
10. Are vegetarian meals available on trips?
Yes, every restaurant contracted in Český Krumlov and Prague boats offers vegetarian meals.
11. How are the meals served on the boat trips?
There is a self-serve buffet on the boats which includes cooked and cold meals (baked meat, fish, fries, rice, vegetable and pasta salads, Czech specialities, fruit, desserts etc.)
